The Scrum Alliance Certified Agile Leadership (CAL) program is an education and practice- based program with the goal of developing Agile leadership competency and maturity in order to increase the effectiveness of a leader in complex, uncertain, and rapidly changing conditions.

Learning Objectives:
  • Describe at least three economic or market factors that have led to the rise of Agile approaches
  • Illustrate how the complexity and uncertainty of work relates to the fitness of an Agile approach
  • Identify at least two management trends and their historical fit with the business environments of their time
  • Explain the long-term effects of an organizational focus on delighting the customer, and how that relates to improved outcomes
  • Explain at least three factors that increase the level of employee engagement, and how that relates to better outcomes
  • Describe at least two benefits of becoming a more effective Agile leader

The course is an introductory program that delves into the framework that is meant to build flexible learning programs. CAL I is a high-quality, dependable and experienced-based education course. It brings awareness of the focus and journey that Agile leaders have to take. IT consists of countless learning objectives that span across five categories. The main goal of CAL I is to bring awareness of the Agile leadership thinking, focus and behaviors.

This course is intended for executives, middle management, and other leaders with organizational influence. It is also open to leaders who support, lead, or interact with Agile trams. Any leader sponsoring, requesting, or involved with an Agile adoption within their organization should look into taking this course.

The goal of CAL I is to bring awareness of Agile leadership thinking, focus, and behaviors and to start the Agile leader on their learning journey. The CAL I credential is achieved upon successful completion of the CAL I learning objectives.
